At PAWsitive Vet Care we use modern acupuncture techniques to support mobility, relieve pain and improve muscle and joint function in pets.

Dry needling is a targeted technique applied to specific muscle groups to relax tight muscles, increase blood circulation, and enhance mobility. This method is evidence‑based and is used alongside other physical therapy techniques to achieve optimal results. Acupuncture also triggers a beneficial physiological response: the body recognizes the needle as a foreign stimulus, activating the immune system and prompting the release of natural pain‑relieving and anti‑inflammatory substances in the treated area.

Electroacupuncture (PENS – Percutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) combines acupuncture needles with very low‑intensity electrical stimulation. This enhances muscle activation and blood flow at the application site and provides a highly effective analgesic effect.

These treatments are safe, targeted, and fully tailored to each pet, always based on their clinical condition and individual needs.
