That’s why we created a specialized Weight Management Clinic at PAWsitive Vet Care, dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and personalized management of obesity in our four‑legged friends, under the supervision of a veterinarian certified in clinical nutrition.

What does “obese pet” mean?

A pet is considered obese when it carries more than 15–20% excess body weight above its ideal weight. Obesity is not just a cosmetic problem — it is a pathological condition that increases the risk of:
