At PAWsitive Vet Care’s Urology Department, we diagnose and treat diseases affecting the urinary system, including:
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs) (cystitis, pyelonephritis)
Infections of the bladder or kidneys, with symptoms such as frequent urination, pain, and blood in the urine. - Urolithiasis (urinary stones)
Formation of stones in the bladder, urethra or kidneys that may cause obstruction or irritation. - Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
A gradual loss of kidney function, often associated with lethargy, increased thirst, and increased urination. - Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
A sudden and severe decline in kidney function. - Prostatitis (in male dogs)
Inflammation of the prostate, often due to infection. - Urinary Tract Growths
Growths affecting the kidneys, bladder or urethra. - Congenital and Anatomical abnormalities
Such as renal dysplasia or urinary reflux.
